WASP-127 Ab (TOI-675.01) is a hot Jupiter orbiting the star WASP-127 A, 524.02 light-years away from the Sun in Sextans. It has the highest measured wind speeds on an exoplanet at around 33,000 km/h, or over 26 times the speed of sound.
This is also the same exoplanet that rapper Lil Uzi Vert attempted to buy in 2021, only to be stopped by the Outer Space Treaty of 1967.
Bio
WASP-127 Ab is in constant agony, to the surprise of absolutely nobody. His extreme winds have nearly torn him apart, and are in the process of distorting his face beyond recognition. He also despises his host star for making him the hot Jupiter he is, and by seeming to not care about his condition.
Those are not the only things he has to worry about, however, as people from Earth are apparently attempting to buy him, despite the fact that he is a completely unforgiving hellhole for any form of life. His stars know of this as well, and are far from happy.
