Sirius is a binary system but there are myths of there being a third star in the Sirius System that's a brown dwarf, which orbits Sirius A, and this brown dwarf is home to a planet with life and the species on this planet is called "Dogons", some of these said species went to Earth and told humans what the know about Sirius, which explains humans large knowledge on Sirius, but there are some light fluctuations on Sirius every so often which could be caused from the brown dwarf so this brown dwarf might exist!
