Kuiper belt seen behind Neptune Credit: Alphecca
The Kuiper belt is a ring of asteroids and icy objects around the Sun, the Kuiper belt is most popular for being the home to Pluto. The ring spans from just after Neptune's orbit(30 AU) to (50 AU). The two moons Triton and Phoebe possibly originated in the Kuiper belt. Every dwarf planet besides Ceres and Eris live in the Kuiper belt, Ceres lives in the asteroid belt, and Eris lives in the scattered disc.
