BL Ceti (also known as Gliese 65 A), is a red dwarf, which is in a binary pair with another red dwarf, both of which are among the closest known binary pairs to the Solar System, just 8.7 light-years away.
She is the major of the two red dwarves that inhabit the system, altough both have very similar mass, so there's technically no difference. The smaller one is named UV Ceti. Both have orbital periods of about 26 years, and are between 2.1 to 8.8 AU away from eacother (roughly the distance between the Asteroid belt and Saturn).
Both's closest neighbor is Tau Ceti, at just less than a light-year away.

BL Ceti is a pretty happy red dwarf, and usually likes to talk with her neighbors, altough not too much with UV Ceti, since she's just "too static" according to her.
They're gonna have a close encounter with Ran in 31 thousand years, and may disrupt some Eridanian comets.
